Ruthie, what a find! Even for a landscape man like me, these are rare and quite extraordinary. I went onto his site and was going to mention one or two, but there were just too many. His use of colour - extravagant or restrained - is a real eye-opener.

The colors are so calming and and yet happy... so pretty! The flowers remind me a bit of our Ojai Matilija poppies!

Beautiful! just went on his site ... very inspiring. The color and light ... but almost vintage looking. This reminds me of old Japanese prints. Lovely!

Penny, i am off to discover what a Ojai Matilija poppy looks like, i love the name!

Lucinda - that is exactly what they remind me of too, they also have the same quality of light as some of the works of the glasgow boys, like Hornel.
