A story of love & memory . . .

A truly stunning collective work.
It began life as a story but grew into so much more, a story of love & memory,
inspiring photographs and film.  It is the lifelong workings of Gregory Colbert.

Written in the form of letters the tale takes the form of a book of 74 letters, written from a man to his wife of his expeditions to such places as  India, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tonga, and Namibia.
Blank pages in the book represent letters that were blown from the window or lost in transit.

I am hoping one day that the travelling exhibition "The Nomadic Museum",
will perhaps make its way to our country, for it would be a dream to see it.
thank you to Jackie Morris for sharing this link.
