Mixed feelings about this one. It's an amazing phenomenon, and a most unusual find. I don't deny that it looks good, but I'm uneasy about doing that sort of thing to living trees. A tree zoo?

In spite of it's beauty, I must agree with JJ Beazley. Hope the tree didn't "suffer" going through this (my son would be appalled if he heard me say that, he calls me a tree hugger as it is :0) Have a beautiful June, my dear friend xo

A playful dance between tree and human. Roots, trunk and branches always find a way. I don't think the tree minded much, it looks pretty healthy and happy to me. And in six hundred years who will have the last laugh?

i should certainly hope that this beautiful tree was not hurt in anyway, I have seen trees growing naturally through things and round things & over things and i do hope not.

I've never seen anything like this before, except perhaps bonsai. I'm not a fan of bonsai because it seems cruel (I know, maybe I sound mad!) But this is incredible!xx
