Yummmmmmm! I guess you are getting snow as well as everyone in the UK, Ruthie?! I've experienced snow only once in my life on a trip to Europe 11 years ago, sigh!
Christina, We do! not too much , cause we live by the sea, but enough of a dusting to make everywhere look magical. I have on so many layers i look like a snow man myself ;-)
Gonna have to try this one. My wife has a good gingerbread recipe, and the kids like it when we make different shapes. Currently, their favorite shape is "phoenix" (not sure how they got there, but happy about it), but they do like candy canes.
Me and my little boy have decided that the first day of winter will be Gingerbread man making day - i think I'll add "trying" to make a candy cane - so festive!
