The patient Gardener . . .

I adore this 100 year project idea by
for a student retreat to be made
in the gardens in Milan.
A circle of trees has been planted that even now
are growing  to be shaped into this amazing sculpture.
Many more images & much info can be found on their site.

Whimsical tiny sculptures . . .

 "Wrong way is the norm"
a wonderful whimsical hatpin by
metalsmith & sculpter
Mellington Cartwright
Mellington says . . .
"Memories, Sentimentality, Wonderment, Exploration.
To travel, to discover, to dream, to explore
to hitchhike across a dusty roadway in Costa Rica,
or talk with endlessly with strangers in a dark pub in Scotland.
My visual research of perpetual motion compels me to
create trinket-sized sculptures . . ."

Michael Shapcott . . .

I love his wonderfully emotive pencil drawings
washed over in beautiful colour in oils & acrylics.
